@ Broom: I remembered your comment as I was in the train this morning and thought, “I’d really miss this if I didn’t do it anymore.” And then the train stopped and sat on the tracks for half an hour between stations!! Dang, but I won’t miss that!

i hear ya! having traveled for 5 years in the so called first class compartment - i know how harrowing it was. i miss it though.

I remember my train commutes over the summer in Mumbai. As crazy and crammed and as brutal as those women were, I absolutely loved it.
