Decision
I never thought there would be a time when I’d have to choose between two men. And I didn’t anticipate that it would be such a difficult decision.

That was till I realized that neither of them was really a choice for me.
Making the right choice is never difficult…it is the only choice.
It is deciding between the available options that’s really tough.
There’s only enough space at the top for one.
Second-place is infinitely vast, however.

Lucky you are then, to be able to consider more than one.
There can be no second place.

I think the above is just a deliberate play on words; orotund talk. ‘Making the right choice’ is the sequel to ‘Deciding between the available options’. Once you ‘decide’, then you ‘choose’.

choc_ice: Thank you for stopping by.
anonymity: Ever heard of consolation prizes?
iyer: None that matter now. Happened awhile ago and got me thinking that’s all.
abhi: Sure I was…still am. I write a blog about it!
brad: Am making a distinction between a choice (that’s something that feels right, is the meant-to-be fit) and a desicion (which is just finding the least troublesome alternative, the most viable one etc).
Midget: Wonderful! And its a promise (now you know what I’m talking about). Will mail you meantime.

Thought I had left a comment yesterday, and strangely it appears to be not so.
Anyways, if you were in the position to choose between two, it must have felt great until the moment of making the choice.

Great belief this gurl!
“Making the right choice is never difficult…it is the only choice.”
Be strong. And always go by what your instincts tell you.

It is still a play on words, I think. A ‘choice’ is made after ‘choosing’. And what goes into making that choice. A decision. So primarily, ‘decision’ equates to ‘choice’.

I beleive that, if there is a delima in chosing between two people then that proves neither one is right.

I guess the difficult part of choosing is choosing without hurting.
Sometimes,we tend to hurt one or the other, during the decision making.

Its like choosing between two jobs. Choices choices. You know whats funny, some people would pay to have choices, and here we are, hating ourselves for them.
