A collection of atoms
charged by electrical impulses
driven by controlled chemicals
which channel wave-forms into
pretensions to an identity
aspirations for a faith
developed from a limited set of reactions
to a narrow band of sound and light ranges
kept in balance by equal, opposing forces
- the need to fit in
- the desire to stand apart

At each point, a unique expression
of ever-changing variables
of memory, anticipation and reaction
A result of chance incidents
A cause for random reactions
And methodical chaos of the greater probability
In synergy, in conflict
In suspension, in motion
Perfect stillness in the centre
of a whirlpool
contained in a chasm of complete rigidity.
