Whatever phone you have, you would still need ‘Windows’ to update stuff on it!!! Check out the ubiquitous fenestration!

If you had watched ‘Pirates of Silicon Valley’ it would have been even better, but I am guessing you haven’t. Windows - Bill Gates’ baby (or brainchild), the operating system that runs on nearly every computer is much needed when you connect your phone to it to have email/contacts/updates synchronized. The phone could be from any manufacturer, could be associated with any carrier, but the computer has to have Windows (98/ME/XP/Vista et al) running on it mostly for you to do anything with the phone!
