Meet Parmesh Shahani, one-time crush, now that-ubercool-stud-I-know. Parmesh is the author of GayBombay:Globalization, Love and (Be)Longing in Contemporary India. (*sob* Why’re all the great men gay?), owner of rockstar attitude and the wearer of the kind of attire that gives I Style! its raison d’etre.
Parmesh has the attitude and you can see he wears it as well! (Do I get some brownie points for claiming an acquaintance with him?)

Holy Mother of Christ! Is this the same Parmesh Shahani who was involved with freshlimesoda.com? He studied at the Indian School in Bahrain for some time. My brother and he were pretty good friends. He wasn’t gay then … at least I don’t think he was.

I wonder why certain people are so nostalgic abt proclaiming their sexual priorities akin to a clarion call given. I am doubly sure that a vast majoirty of readers only pay heed to the author’s professional achievements n objectives rather than his/her sexual priorities!
