I have started editing and clipping content through paid campaigns involving content creators, ranging from beginners and rising talents to well-known personalities. My goal is to build my own business around this, where creators can turn to me for professional clipping and video editing services to increase their reach and online visibility.
I am currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, specializing in Marketing, which aligns well with my entrepreneurial ambitions and long-term goals. The money that i make is invested to make that money make more money (hope it makes sense) i invest in ETF’s and obligations to generate financial freedom for my later stages in life. Long-term investing in short.
There are tiers of exits that range from obvious to ambiguoius
if you are big enough, you can play without considering whos buying
if yoru mid tier, relationships drive your growth and the favor of those relationships are critical from the start but dont scale outside (amway)
anything below is a disconnect from the founde/ build character and thrive off genuonecpnnections as its equally benefitial.

The core idea
Simon Squibb condenses roughly 30 years of entrepreneurship into a practical guide to starting, growing, managing, and eventually selling a business. His central message is:
Build something you genuinely care about, solve a real problem, and focus on creating long-term value rather than simply trying to make money or sell the company.
Main lessons
You don't need money to start.
Start with what you already have—your skills, knowledge, relationships, audience, or ability to create content—and prove that people actually want what you're offering before worrying about capital.
Start with passion and purpose, not necessarily an original idea.
Squibb argues that you don't need a completely novel business idea. Competition can be a sign that there is already demand. Your advantage can come from your enthusiasm, persistence, expertise, and execution.
Use a mind map rather than an overly rigid business plan.
The idea is to map out the problem, customer, product, marketing, finances, people, and other components while keeping the plan flexible as you learn.
Purpose matters.
A strong purpose can motivate the founder, employees, and customers. He sees purpose as something that can make people want to participate in the business beyond simply receiving a paycheck.
Find a complementary co-founder.
Don't simply find someone you like. Find someone whose abilities compensate for your weaknesses and who can provide accountability.
Learn to sell.
Squibb's view is that selling isn't a mysterious talent reserved for certain personalities. It is a learnable skill and fundamental to entrepreneurship.
Marketing should attract attention and communicate value.
He discusses creative marketing, PR, and techniques such as getting your business into existing conversations/news rather than relying exclusively on paid advertising.
Build a brand, not merely a business.
A company becomes more valuable when people recognize, trust, and care about it. He also argues that founders should develop a personal brand, particularly in today's media environment.
You don't always need traditional investors.
The video discusses alternatives such as customers, existing relationships, sponsors, crowdfunding, and other sources of funding. The broader principle is to think creatively about who benefits from your success and might therefore support it.
Hire for the business you want to build.
As the company grows, the founder needs to stop trying to do everything personally and build a team capable of executing the company's purpose.
Know when to fire someone.
Keeping the wrong person indefinitely can hurt both the company and the rest of the team. Squibb treats hiring and firing as part of the founder's responsibility.
Think globally.
Expanding into multiple markets can reduce dependence on a single market and create additional opportunities. He also discusses franchising as one potential way to scale.
Get mentors strategically.
Instead of simply asking successful people, “Will you be my mentor?”, approach them with something useful, demonstrate that you've already taken action, and ask specific questions.
Understand equity before giving it away.
Equity represents ownership, so founders need to understand what percentage they're giving away, to whom, and what that ownership could ultimately be worth.
Don't build a company solely to sell it.
The video ends by returning to the central philosophy: build something you actually want to exist. A business built purely around the idea of selling it can leave you with something you don't care about.
I've never seen Eddie Howe and Simon Squibb in the same room.
Insane video
Gave me gusebumps ☠️
Watching this was like having my thoughts and beleifs reflected back at me, but with a depth of experience that I could never hope to acquire. Thank you so much for sharing. My business is a year in and slow to get off the ground, but this has helped tremendously with ideas to make it work better.
30 years of business experience condensed into one video, there's so much value here. Definitely worth watching!

1. You don’t start with an original idea but what you love/like doing
And find people for things you are not good at
Step after idea is
Step 1:- execution
Step2: revenue: from where it’s going to come, experiment with different ways of revenue models
Step 3: purpose
Delayed gratification
Culture
