While some languages take as little as 600 hours to reach fluency, you can also just watch videos about how to learn the language for 1000 hours. Should achieve the same effect, honestly.

Honestly, I don't even know a drop of Korean and I never thought I'd learn it because of pressured hate.. but here I am. My reason for learning is to one day go to Korea, even if for a trip, without needing a translator. I also want to go to a concert maybe!
I didn't actually start by learning the hangul writing system. For the first three months, I picked up words and learned their meanings, I used ROMANIZATION instead of hangul.
My reasoning for that is because "I will be more motivated to learn the writing system if I already know how to write a few words because of ROMANIZATION"
And it definitely worked!! For example, I learned "gaja" in ROMANIZATION which means "let's go!"
And I recently started learning the hangul writing system and I've already MEMORIZED the CONSONANT and a few of the simple vowels.
This greatly motivated me because I immediately started to write words. And I succeeded. Like gaja is 가자. This made me Hella excited because it meant I am PICKING UP what I'm learning. I also tried what little alphabets I know to write names(of my language) and I was only a little wrong.
Idk about you all but this greatly helped me because motivated!
i learnt English with those methods to the level that i understand everything in this video in 3 years! now i came back to gain motivation to learn the next language

How is German not the easiest? English is a Germanic language with Latin influence...
Not recommending reading is crazyyyy.
Also no SRS for remembering words is also kinda crazy.
I like most of the advice, though.
But also... The step between "watching YouTube" and "understanding 70%" is like... 2 years lol. You kinda glossed over that methinks
Im learning Spanish 🇪🇸
Lord I am never learning Japanese anytime soon. D:
I love french libraries
Another great way is a newspaper magazine or books written in that language. Children's books are a great start.
Keo pi thang cha pls
I think you can learn language easily which is closer to your mother language
I started learning Japanese using chatgpt plus(paid) and so far it's good. It's teaching me the scripts first and gives me homework to do by myself. I've learned most of the basic hiragana in one day. I know it'll be a process spanning years but I'm determined to learn it as I plan to move there at some point in my life. I always loved learning languages and I want to learn more than one.
Awesome introvert way to learn I love it
funniest z-lib plug I have seen
I live in a country where I have to learn both English and mandarin.
Your explanation is outstanding I did not expect it to be this good.
