For Lawyers: Personal Injury Trials From A To Z—How to Master the Courtroom
Join me as I share my trial strategy designed to give you that "light bulb moment". I’ll explain why authenticity is your greatest asset, how to own bad facts by turning them into mountains for the defense to climb, and how to polarize the case using visuals that expose defense theories as narratives requiring the jury to believe every witness is a "liar, cheater, or fraud".

Paralegal in training at a PI firm in Southern California. Listening to this while I work 😂
It should be "different". It's actually a linking verb. I feel sick, not I feel sickly. Even though people say I am well, if you look it up in the dictionary, when you say well to mean your health, it is being used as an adjective not an adverb. Which is why it's also okay to say I am good. Look it up if you don't believe me. Every writing book or grammar blog will say that I am good is perfectly fine on the actual rule of the part of speech. It is technically and actually correct to say I am good. Orange tastes well? No. Orange tastes good. I feel different. If I say I feel differently, it means that the mechanism that allows me to feel doesn't work the same as yours does. If I say I am well and I mean well as an adverb, it means that the the mechanism that allows me to feel is working well.

Not in this specific video, but in a lot of your videos, I noticed a speech pattern you use that is improper, but VERY COMMON, and would not be considered proper in court, as it is improper speech. (One of my worst dialect deficits as well.)
Aside from words like family, it's important to avoid use of the suffix -ly. Like instead of saying "actually" you should try to say things like, 'the actual cause was/is', instead of 'it was/is actually'.
Instead of 'intentionally inflicted damages to the client or their property as retaliation' you should say, 'Inflicted damagaes with the [malicious] intent to retaliate against the client for [whatever the retaliation is over].'
Instead of "commonly referred to as" you'd say "in more common terms"....
Etc.
A Team - I need you // Pro Se Florida. 🤣 WARNING - It is Civil against a Municipality - 🤔🤪
hahaha - U r the best/ Thanx so much ----
Not even a law student yet but I know this will be valuable to practice
Thanks! I’m in Arkansas and am plaintiff in an Automobile tort. I have learned so much from listening to you and appreciate your sharing of knowledge immensely. (I so wish you were my lawyer or at least co-counsel ! 😊
Watching these as a non lawyer to learn sales techniques
Can you talk about the recent airplane crash in la guardia
Which products of consumers privacy and policy declaration between history of monetary of employment department with Title 18 of the pandemics federal mandate law and state emergency code of regulation form of physical documentation of notary stamps under 1994 VAWA to ladies in administration services.
Great work thank you very much 👍🏻
I look forward to the book:
"Always know where the bathroom is"
So interesting!
You make me want to "try" a case! I'm a paralegal in CA starting out to be a virtual paralegal. I can't stop watching your content....Excellent! Thank you!; Any advice for a paralegal that wants to stand out for external attorney support?
When you are representing a client at a jury trial -- how many people from your firm would typically be working with you on that case?
After a whirlwind career as a small town cosmetologist (fellow Georgian here), I’ve enrolled at Tallahassee State College for paralegal studies. I genuinely appreciate and enjoy this long form content! You have a really great personality for teaching. Thank you!
Please keep these coming! So valuable, it’s amazing to learn from such an incredible attorney for free as a law student.
If you ever want a case of not knowing the rules of trial and trying to bring in evidence with no/incorrect foundation.. look no further than the defense lawyer for Brendan Banfield. It was painful. I also think in some instances no cross is a power move... its like meh, we know what they said.. they didn't move the needle, it doesn't matter.
I'm not a lawyer and I'm not even living in USA, but I still watched the full video. It was interesting, and can be used in fiction to base scenarios in court or something.
i'd much rather be complimented as somebody they'd want as their lawyer, not their friend. i can't possibly be everyone's friend, but i can damn well be a good lawyer for every client.
This has got me hyped for my upcoming jury duty (which I know won't be as interesting as this, just to temper my expectations).
