I got to be informed about CEO of Careership thanks to ALP
Hate my job but LOVE the money and benefits and balance. I donโt plan to leave any time soon but itโs good to consider options
Robert's story sounds too real and close๐ข
Title wise, nothing aligns in a situation. Like the culinary college food degree-career, well to get a step in the door it should start as fast food and then to fancy smancy restaurants, then own entrepreneurally but unfortunately it doesn't go that way because being exposed to a ghetto and gained insight in a situation. Same for other careers, but the problem is in a small town we don't have enough within a civil war of needs and wants from ancient generations, old folks, and currently. Anyways, college has everything because you can do on the job training and take a course where middle-high school it's not like that it's just sitting in a class with a view not changed maybe for some high schoolers who are working but not for others and for toxic high schoolers as well again. It's sad that for some people, well work has to come first and then school or the other way for others since we're all different in an educational situation
Iโve been using Jobbyo for my job search, and itโs been helpful overall. Itโs easy to use and makes browsing opportunities simpler. Itโs doing a good job so far.

Interesting stories
It was a wonderful speech.
I don't want to offend anybody, but this is bs. Yes, i fully believe that these stories did happen. But everyone out there in the job market understands, that such "fairytales" happen to only 1-2% of candidates. This is a mere luck and coincidence, rather than some working advice.
The first story is especially funny. I can assure you that most of the candidates would be happy to get a second chance to re-do the interview (or test), but they will never have it. The fact that that specific person got this chance has nothing to do with his skills or approach. It's a purely lucky coincidence that he encountered this kind of Hr people, who agreed to give him another try. Same for Fatima. She simply got lucky that a top manager reached out to her himself. There are millions of candidates out there who apply to 100+ jobs every month, and they never get reached out. So i really don't like the fact that the speaker here ties to make a point as if it was a merit of these three candidates, who did something unique and got the job. 99% of the candidates do exactly the same, and end up with nothing.
The second story sounds like a toxic applicant and a toxic company. Director steps on the other departments toes like this, your problems wont end at the point of hire
Wow this is really impressive! Your delivery is confident, the ideas are super well-structured, and I came away feeling inspired. Keep it up looking forward to your next video! ๐ฏ
Rather than a story I wanna know the truth rather than a delusional stories

Very good presentation. Lucky to have landed on this โค
The most thrilling story for me was Fatima's. However, the most closed one was the Rob's the first story, it was not the VLOOKUP but very similar and very Devastating ๐คซ. Nevertheless, I have learned in my corporate and academic career that the networking is a fundamental aspect of career progression.
Great advice ๐ โค
Couldn't agree more regarding getting active on LinkedIn. The first thing I do when looking at a job application is check their LinkedIn profile. Are they passionate about certain topics? But more importantly, are they passionate about themselves? This is the bare minimum for me.
This video is amazing, thank you for creating such a quality video! Iโm sure you have a unique view, share your thoughts on this topic!
excellent delivery. Wish it was much longer
Resilience and authenticity - 2 words we should all strive for more. Thanks Richard
HR can be the absolute worst gatekeeper. Getting past them to the hiring managers is key.
The talk consists of mere simple stories of 3 different people, but the way it was executed by Richard might definitely impact someone's career progression positively who are watching out there. Very well delivered with a strong message.๐
